NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF ELECTORS

August 13, 2026 – 10:30 AM

Town Of Garfield, Jackson County, Wisconsin

Notice is hereby given that a special town meeting of the electors of the Town of Garfield, Jackson County, Wisconsin will be held at the town hall located at N12915 West Hillcrest Road, Osseo, Wisconsin, on the 13^th day of August, 2026 beginning at 10:30 AM. This meeting will be held for the following purpose:

 

 

1. To grant authority to the Town Board to dispose of Town real property pursuant to Section 60.10(2)(g) of Wisconsin State Statutes.  

The real property to be considered is a tract of land in the Town of Garfield, Jackson County, WI that begins at a point 47 rods South from the N.W. corner (at the edge of present highway right of way) of the SE-1/4 of the

NE-1/4 of Section (33), Town No. 24 N, Range 6 West, thence running South along said boundary of highway 15 rods, thence East 5-1/3 rods, thence North 15 rods, thence West to the place of the beginning.
